Yasin proved essential to the Iranian side as a spot-up shooter. But other than his playing his role Yasin showed glimpses of good ball handling, defensive IQ, and athleticism. He has the tools that can build a modern-day point guard. Yassin was on a team with lots of heavy hitters, I don’t doubt he has more in his bag but he was able to play his role, finding a sweet spot as a shooter and secondary ball handler at times.

Selim is a bucket and can get points in a hurry. He can score from anywhere on the floor off the catch or off the dribble. Selim is a great option on the bench for his scoring abilities and can get his team on an offensive role. He has a good habit of grabbing rebounds and starting transition in an instant to gain quick points from a miss.
Hussein is a cornerstone of the Egyptian team. Despite being relatively undersized, Hussein can grab lots of rebounds through good old boxing out, something that seems a relic of the past among youth basketball. Hussein is very intelligent on both ends moving without the ball and setting screens to open up teammates. He also has a surprisingly good shot where he knocked down more 3-pointers than people expected.

This 6’7″ has a major upside. He is long and length and is annoying for ballhandlers on defence. He is also very good at creating opportunities for the catch and uses his lanky frame to reach the rim under pressure. We would love to see him develop a long-range shot.
