These big men are the best in the WABA Region and for good reason. They are the anchors for their teams fighting under the basket on both ends to support their respective teams.

#15 Mohammad Amin

Amin is your old-school big man with classic back-to-the-basket footwork, physical game, and rim protection. He has an arsenal of moves underneath the basket and can put the game in the hoop efficiently. Amin was a key piece for Iran because of the number of second chances he created. He is amazing and getting around boxouts and is physical enough to push his way around in the paint without getting in foul trouble. He is a defensive force that denies most tries at the rim and makes scorers think twice before attacking the rim. He is a pleasure to watch and we can’t wait to see him play at the next level in the Asia Cup.

#23 Bryan Saleh

Bryan is the big with the most potential in this group. He can attack off the dribble and has good shot mechanics. He is also a point guard’s dream because of his ability to play the pick and roll on both sides of the court. On the offensive side, he can make the right read whether he rolls or pops out to the 3-point line, and he ends up getting an open shot for himself or one of his teammates. For the defensive side, he can make the right reads whether it’s hedging, dropping or icing. Bryan is a good rim runner and is usually running on fast breaks receiving passes for the layup or cleaning up on the glass. Bryan is going to be a major key if Lebanon wants to qualify for the World Cup this summer. One thing we need from Bryan is for him to put on some muscle mass and be more physical. If he attains these qualities he will be UNSTOPPABLE.

#77 Said Khawaldeh

This lengthy center came out as a surprise to everyone. Specifically for his range shooting and making abilities. Said is long and in return alters multiple shots at the rim. He likes to shoot and will pop on a pick and roll more often than not but that’s fine because he will make his shots or make the right pass more often than not. In the post Said is a great passer finding cutters and open shooters for easy buckets and wide-open shots. Like his Lebanese counterpart Said needs to put on some muscle mass and become more physical which will help him greatly in becoming physical.
